The job
As Maintenance Technician you will maintain and repair all production equipment in order to ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and safely to minimize equipment downtime.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Perform corrective and preventive electrical maintenance
2. Perform repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment
3. Support the installation of new equipment
4. Ensure all repairs are documented
5. Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area
6. Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly
7. Participate in BOPEX (continuous improvement) program
8. Comply with all procedures, regulations, and policies applicable
9. Stop and report unsafe operations and use mandatory PPE as defined
10. Offer flexibility in working hours subject to business needs
11. Working on call, outside regular hours
Who you are
· High school diploma - Technical Qualification or equivalent by experience
· Electrical knowledge
· Awareness of HACCP, food hygiene and safety requirements are required
· Fluently English
· Computer skills required
· Experience in working in repair and maintenance of machinery in a food or drink manufacturing environment
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Experience with working in a team
