We’re looking for a qualified teacher to join our team in Ashington for a full-time temporary SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) teaching role.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with SEMH students in an educational setting
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
What you’ll do:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEMH
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies where needed
* Collaborate with staff and families to provide holistic support for each student’s academic and emotional development
