I have partnered exclusively with this long-running and successful business to support in their search for an Installation Technician to join the team. The base site is Milton Keynes, but this role will involve travel across the UK using the company vehicle to make deliveries and collections for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive vehicles with trailers or caravans; C1 & C1E on your driving licence with a valid driver CPC card is required.
2. Install and de-install equipment on site; knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical work is beneficial.
3. Provide outstanding customer service.
4. Perform daily vehicle and trailer checks, document findings, report defects, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
5. Assist in the warehouse with maintenance and cleaning of products as well as preparation for future use.
Working as part of a small but close team, you will support each other with assistance, technical knowledge, and experience regarding equipment, installation, and operation. This role may involve overnight hotel stays due to distance, usually one night at a time and can be up to 3 times per month depending on business needs, with hotel and meal expenses covered.
Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, with 7.5 working hours per day and 1 hour unpaid lunch. You will receive 25 days of annual leave per year. Salary is dependent on experience but in the region of £28k to £30k + OT, with the potential to increase salary based on performance over the year.
