About the Role: As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial Advisors by preparing financial plans and conducting research. You will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the paraplanning process, working closely with experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you. Your analytical skills and understanding of economic principles will be invaluable in this role. Key Responsibilities (with training and support): Assisting in the preparation of financial plans, including cash flow modelling, investment analysis, and retirement planning. Conducting research and analysis on investment products, market trends, and regulatory changes. Preparing client reports and presentations. Maintaining client files and ensuring data accuracy. Supporting the Financial Advisors in client meetings. Developing a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance. Progressing towards professional qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Financial Planning). About You: Recent graduate with a degree in Economics (2:1 or above preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine interest in financial services and a desire to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
