About The Role:
We are seeking a Senior PBI Analyst to join our HMCTS contract team. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will leverage your expertise in Power BI to design, develop, and maintain robust data models and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for stakeholders across the contract, and will play a key strategic role in the enablement of successful contract delivery.
You will work closely with stakeholders to analyse data requirements, create interactive dashboards, and provide insights that drive business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence at multiple levels, communicating complex data insights effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver a data strategy for the contract in line with wider company best practices to support strategic decisions and inform continuous improvement.
* Design, develop, and maintain high-quality interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI using best practice techniques.
* Gather and integrate data from various sources into BI tools for analysis, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.
* Conduct requirements gathering exercises to establish demands and needs of the contract from a reporting perspective and scope/identify new or existing solutions where appropriate.
* Conduct ad-hoc analysis and deliver insights and recommendations to the business on key initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience Required:
* 5+ years' experience in a similar data related role.
* Proven experience developing high-quality reports in Power BI.
* Advanced knowledge of the DAX function language.
* Proficiency in SQL, Data Modelling & Data Warehousing incl. knowledge of ETL processes.
* Analytical & problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Strong proven communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
