We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our Urology Outpatient team. The successful candidate will support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the smooth running of clinics.
Main duties of the job
* Assist in preparing patients for urology procedures and investigations.
* Support clinicians with minor procedures, such as catheterisation and cystoscopies.
* Provide reassurance and information to patients and their families.
* Perform routine observations, such as blood pressure and urinalysis.
* Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in the clinic.
* Manage stock levels and ensure clinical areas are well-equipped.
* Accurately record patient information and assist with administrative tasks.
