Classroom Support Assistant Location: Primary School, Preston Role Type: Full-Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 AM - 3:30 PM Rate of Pay: £12.90 per hour Are you passionate about supporting young learners and contributing to their educational journey? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Support Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Preston. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. - Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning experience. - Help with classroom management, including preparing materials and maintaining a positive learning environment. - Support students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they receive tailored assistance. - Supervise students during break times and other non-instructional periods. - Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing atmosphere for all students. Qualifications and Skills: - Previous experience in a classroom support role or working with children is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young learners. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. - Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
