ASSISTANT SOLICITOR REQUIRED FOR BUSY RURAL PRACTICE
Position:
1. Mainly Plaintiff Litigation with scope for some County Court Defence Litigation for the appropriate candidate.
2. The position is Full time – 35 hours per week. The successful candidate would not be expected to routinely work after-hours or at weekends.
3. The successful candidate would be expected to work mainly out of our Downpatrick headquarters with options to work part-time out of our Carryduff or Ballynahinch Branch Offices, or from home, subject to negotiation.
4. The successful candidate would be joining a long-established, vibrant and progressive general practice with a proven record of staff retention as a result of a friendly, supportive and collegiate working environment.
5. Salary negotiable and commensurate with experience.
Essential criteria:
1. Preferably at least two years PQE.
2. References are optional for application but may be required for the successful candidate.
3. Proven communication and interpersonal skills in a client-facing role.
4. Self-motivated and target driven with the ability to work independently as well as part of a Litigation team.
5. Proven experience of handling own client list including invoicing.
