Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team at an outstanding school in Bridgwater, Somerset. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with trauma, autism, or learning disabilities, and EHCP.
The successful applicant will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth in students aged 5-18.
About the Role
This is a part-time position (37.5 hours per week) working 39 weeks a year. The salary will be £25,329 plus depend on experience.
You will be expected to:
* Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective support
* Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive community

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* QTS and/or relevant teaching qualifications
* Experience working with students with SEND, particularly those with trauma, autism, or learning disabilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
