A Birmingham based secondary school for young people with social and emotional mental health needs is looking to recruit a Science Teacher to enrich the learning and development of their KS4 students.
The school is looking for a Science Teacher with appropriate SEND experience who can create engaging and innovative lesson plans and who prides themselves on inspiring each individual student. The school is for students with ADHD, social and emotional mental health needs and disengaged young people who do not work well in a mainstream setting.
The position is 5 days a week and will include planning and assessment, under the guidance of the Head of Department.
As a Science Teacher with SEND experience, you will have:
* QTS, specialising in Science.
* 6 months minimum teaching experience.
* 3 months minimum supporting/teaching children with SEND.
* The ability to cover your subject and potentially some lessons of other subjects.
* A passion for teaching and a desire to make a difference.
