* Join a Legal 500team

* Clear career progression and personal development opportunities
* Flexible working options and a focus on work-life balance
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate in Private Client to accelerate their career in a thriving, award-winning legal firm. Our client, a highly-respected and established firm, is making significant strides in increasing its presence in the Midlands by setting up a central Birmingham office.
In return for your expertise, you could be earning a competitive salary upwards of £55,000, along with the opportunity to earn bonuses amounting to 10% of any extra. The firm is also planning to introduce 'buy/sell holidays' in the future.
This role encompasses an exciting blend of leadership and hands-on work. Alongside managing your own caseload of varied and complex matters – including LPAs, wills, estate administration, and creation of trusts and tax planning – you will take the reins and effectively lead the Birmingham office team. You will also play a key role in business development and marketing activities.
The ideal candidate will have around 6+ years PQE, a good sense of judgement, commercial awareness, and be highly proficient in technical matters. Although it's desirable for applicants to have prior experience at a Legal 500 firm, our client is open to candidates from other legal backgrounds too.
In return for your dedication, you'll benefit from one of the best billable hours targets in the market (3.6 hours), emphasising the firm's focus on work-life balance and commitment to preventing burnout within the team. Not only this, but you'll be joining a supportive team with a big focus on engagement, with all feedback taken onboard. Our client places great importance on personal growth, conducting annual appraisals and promoting a clearly defined structure for progression.
The firm maintains a belief that work life balance is essential, hence all fee earners are granted secretarial support and are allowed to manage their own diaries. This balance is further struck by a policy allowing fee earners to work from home two days a week post-probation.
If you're an enthusiastic professional with strong communication skills looking to take a leap in your career at a forward-thinking firm, this could be just the opportunity for you.
