Your new companyHays Senior Finance are working with a lovely SME client near Lincoln looking for a part-time Finance Manager (3 days a week).Your new roleReporting to the Directors, you will be solely responsible for all things finance, taking responsibility from ledgers to year-end and producing meaningful reports and data for the senior leadership team. Key tasks will include: invoicing, credit control, purchase orders, reconciliations, trial balance, VAT, job costing, monthly management accounts, accruals & prepayments, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, year-end reconciliations ready to pass to the Accountants. The position is part-time, 3 days a week, circa 24 hours, and can be worked in a hybrid manner with a minimum of 1 day a week in the office. What you'll need to succeedYou will be an experienced finance professional (AAT, qualified by experience, part or qualified ACMA/ACCA/ACA) with recent and proven wide-ranging accounts experience gained in a small company environment from ledgers to year-end. You will be able to work unsupervised in a stand-alone role and be able to react quickly to requests for reports and financial data. Experience of Xero would be highly beneficial. You will have excellent communication skills and be flexible in your approach. You will be living in close commute of the Lincoln area as the role requires an office presence a minimum of 1 day a week.What you'll get in return
