Key Responsibilities: Implementation of HSE Strategy: Align with the national HSE strategy, ensuring compliance with both statutory requirements and company policies. Financial Responsibility: Ensure HSE spending is within budget. Advisory Role: Provide timely, legally sound advice on HSE matters. Culture Building: Promote a positive HSE culture by engaging all levels of staff and managers in safety protocols. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for HSE improvements through audits, incidents, and risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. HSE Performance: Monitor and improve site HSE performance by recommending enhancements to the management system. Ideal Candidate Requirements: HSE Experience in FMCG: Prior experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment management role in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or a related sector. Strong Legislative Knowledge: Deep understanding of HSE laws and regulations. NEBOSH Certification: Holding or working towards a NEBOSH diploma, as well as IOSH membership. Communication Skills: Capable of influencing and building relationships across all levels within the organization. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Able to address issues efficiently and promote safety as a business enabler.
