Responsibilities
as our Professional Support Apprentice will include:
1. First point of contact for all students and staff in the administration office
2. Act as point of contact on behalf of Directors and Learning Managers of Curriculum, including taking telephone calls, dealing with messages, and progressing matters for management attention
3. Co-ordinate and organise curriculum area events and appointments, e.g. parents evenings, awards evenings, and events, interviews, visits, and room bookings
4. Provide administrative support for academic staff, e.g. taking messages, liaising with staff and parents to arrange meetings, writing letters to students/parents, photocopying and general administration duties
5. Build and maintain links and knowledge with curriculum teams, providing support in the areas as required including minute-taking at meetings, and attending training and events as necessary.
6. Assist with the day-to-day running of curriculum areas e.g. communicating timetable changes, reporting and recording staff and student absence/lateness, ordering stationary, certificate administration, filing, generating and handling correspondence, and data input.
7. Provide high levels of customer service.
As our Professional Support Apprentice, youll ideally have:
8. Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths
9. Experience in delivering high levels of customer satisfaction within the work environment
10. Experience using Microsoft Office applications Communication skills including written and verbalCommitment to learningThe ability to work in a team as well as on your own as well as being self-motivatedGood organisation, communication, and computer skills
