If you are an experienced Commercial/Corporate Account Executive who would like to deal with a small number of high-profile, major corporate accounts, then look no further than this rare Account Director opportunity in Yorkshire.
This new role has arisen with what is arguably the most prestigious insurance broker in the world, providing exposure to some of the most coveted accounts in the North. You’ll enjoy working for a company boasting the largest office in Leeds in terms of revenue, along with a highly experienced team of corporate broking professionals.
Upon joining, you’ll inherit a small number of clients generating total fee income of up to £1 million. The make-up of your portfolio can be adjusted based on your strengths and experience, including high-profile, ‘trophy’ clients generating individual fee income ranging from £100K to £300K. A fascinating array of accounts is available, including well-known football clubs, global financial institutions, construction giants, and household name food producers. Refreshingly, most clients are based within 10 miles of Leeds.

Given its comprehensive training and development programme, our client is flexible regarding experience and will consider experienced Insurance Account Executives from either a corporate or ‘large’ commercial background. Many key people within the branch transitioned from commercial to major corporate upon joining. However, it is important that you have dealt with some ‘larger’ commercial cases, for whom you have strategically led their insurance programmes. You’ll have first-class relationship management and client-facing skills, along with a consultative approach to account servicing. Just as importantly, you’ll be a team player, motivated to provide your clients with the best possible service by utilizing all resources and services available from this world-leading organisation.
Our client offers hybrid working, allowing you to report into either the Leeds or Sheffield branch.
