The Role:
The successful UK Transport Planner will be responsible for:
* Processing customer orders and maintaining consistent, timely communication with customers.
* Coordinating closely with suppliers to arrange the necessary transportation for order execution.
* Ensuring efficient turnaround of tanks to optimise their utilisation.
* Monitoring and planning UK tank driver schedules to maximise earnings potential.
* Upholding service levels to meet customer expectations.
* Managing equipment usage in alignment with specific customer, product, and operational needs.
* Facilitating smooth onboarding and integration of new business.
* Managing the recharge of any additional costs.
* Coordinating tank cleaning, repairs, and maintenance services.
Successful candidates will have:
* Prior experience in tank planning is highly desirable.
* A background in customer-facing roles.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping.
* Clear, effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with team members, drivers, and stakeholders.
* Problem-solving abilities to identify issues, recommend solutions, and make informed decisions under pressure.
* Ability to seamlessly shift between customer service and operational responsibilities.
Salary - Up to £35,000 DOE + life assurance scheme, 25 days holiday, Benefit Hub, Help@Hand scheme and employee assistance programme.
