Green Meadows, Freshwater, Isle of Wight The role We are looking for a Registered Manager to join our Care & Independent Living team here on a permanent basis. This role will be based at our Green Meadowsscheme in Freshwater,Isle of Wight working 35 hours per week. What youll be doing: To lead and directly line manage staff including supervision, appraisals, absence management and monitoring, and providing them with appropriate support and training to ensure their continuing personal and professional development as well as compliance with regulations To ensure the effective implementation of staffing policies and procedures and to support staff with management or supervisory responsibilities in carrying out these duties To lead and develop the team through coaching, engagement, communication, motivation, team building and delegation. Manage staff resources to maximize productivity and ensure appropriate cover across the services. Ensure the service is meeting its legislative and contractual agreements for effective and quality service provision Proactively engage and build relationsihps with local agencies/professionals to maximise referrals to services and improve outcomes for residents Embed and maintain a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery What youll need: Thorough awareness of health & safety Experience of working in a registered care service with Care Quality Commission knowledge Hold 4 passes at GCSE Level C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English Hold a Level 5 Registered Manager qualification or working towards this currently Excellent written and communication skills Leadership and management experience Be able to work flexibly, prioritise and manage demands Driving licence, able to drive and have access to own vehicle Closing Date: Tuesday 17th December 2024 at 23:59pm Please note, we do reserve the right to close this vacancy early, should we receive a high volume of applications About us At Southern Housing, our residents are at the heart of everything we do.
