Support Worker Urgently Needed!
We are looking for a Support Worker to assist four women with learning disabilities and autism to live as independently as possible and engage in their local community. Activities include swimming, cycling, walking in parks, and attending clubs. The successful applicant must have a full clean driving license to drive the person we support's car.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support individuals to lead fulfilled lives and develop their skills and confidence.
2. Follow person-centred plans and support guidelines to achieve independence.
3. Assist with daily living activities such as shopping, cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
4. Help with health management and attend medical appointments.
5. Support individuals in managing their finances and maintaining a safe living environment.
6. Promote the policies and procedures of Aurora Nexus service.
7. Assist individuals in building relationships within their community.
8. Liaise with professionals to ensure individuals receive necessary support.
9. Maintain accurate records and participate in administrative tasks.
10. Be an active member of the staff team and participate in meetings and training.
11. Undertake any other duties as directed by the Operations Manager or Service Manager.
This role requires a full UK driving license. The applicant must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.
Hours: 37.5
Annual Leave: 21 Days plus Bank holidays
