Job Title: Client Service Manager
We are seeking a Client Service Manager for a well-known HVAC contractor with a strong presence across the UK. The company operates within the commercial sector, servicing clients in restaurants, hotels, leisure centres, healthcare, industrial, and education sectors.
The company has regional offices supporting over 130 employees and generates a turnover exceeding £20M. They specialize in installation, service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of HVAC equipment, including air conditioning, chillers, AHUs, ventilation, and commercial heating.
As an employee-owned trust, all employees are collective owners, with a say in management and profit sharing, fostering a long-term perspective on business success and employee investment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a P&L of approximately £1.3M, overseeing service and maintenance operations across your designated patch.
2. Ensure client satisfaction through efficient contract management and operations.
3. Lead and manage a team of mobile engineers, maintaining service quality and productivity standards.
4. Drive continuous improvement and develop client relationships to secure contract extensions and remedial works.
5. Monitor financial performance, including profit and loss, cost control, and profitability metrics.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in service or operations management within HVAC, with leadership of engineering teams.
* Technical expertise in heating, cooling, wet systems, and plant rooms.
* Strong client-facing skills, capable of discussing systems, service schedules, and remedial works.
* Experience with service and maintenance contract negotiations.
* Commitment to professional development and increasing responsibilities.
* Financial acumen, including P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
