The Role
This role is a Recruitment Consultant position in our Permanent team. Due to the nature of the business, this is a 180 role focusing on account management with limited Business Development duties.
Key Duties include
* Screening candidates to qualify their relevance for the client and the requirement
* Building trust and confidence with your clients and candidates/contractors providing exceptional customer service
* Ensure relationships and retention of clients and candidates are kept to a high standard whilst effectively managing their expectations
* Encourage the full range of JMC’s recruitment services
* To build a solid customer base within your chosen industries
* To make existing client sales and service calls and to take the opportunity to develop business
* To advertise vacancies on the appropriate Websites
* Keep all records accurate and current on the recruitment database
* Conduct telephone/face-to-face interviews with candidates
* Grow the company database of candidates to fulfil client requirements
* Monitor candidates performance for future placement with clients
* Visit clients as and when required
* Help with candidate queries that are raised
* Ensure company compliance is enforced
Person Specification
* Proven experience working as a recruiter (all industry sectors considered)
* Strong administration and organisational skills
* Being able to work to tight deadlines
* Ability to work on own initiative and to organise and prioritise own work
* Attention to detail is essential
* Professional telephone manner
* Flexibility within the role
* Experience in a client/customer environment providing exceptional customer service
* Ability to convey information accurately, clearly and in a manner easily understood
* Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems
* Live in a commutable distance of Exeter Airport
* Right to live and work within the UK
