We're looking for a Framework Director to join our Nuclear and Energy team
Location: Hybrid working with regular travel to sites in Hertfordshire, Kent, East Sussex, Cambridgeshire, and Bedfordshire.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
What will you be responsible for?
As a Framework Director, you'll be working within the Nuclear and Energy team, to lead the Kier team working on the UKPN ED2 Alliance framework and be responsible for the successful delivery of framework projects from pre-construction through to completion. This £40m+ p/a framework completing end 2028 will involve the design, construction, and commissioning of multiple low value/high frequency projects each year ranging £500k - £15m in value. The Alliance framework aims to significantly upgrade capacity, while also ensuring long-term sustainability and community benefits without disruption to the network.
Your day to day will include:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive project management plan, including risk management, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement strategies, as well as implementing Kier Group's policies, procedures, and standards in line with Performance Excellence, including those for SHE and risk management.
* Represent the project to the client and stakeholders and develop collaborative and effective client management relationships to mutual benefit through anticipating client needs, exceeding expectations, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress, addressing any concerns.
* Provide overall leadership and direction for the Alliance team, fostering effective collaboration, developing team capability, ensuring best practice and that the team meets all objectives within budget, schedule, and quality constraints.
* Manage project budget and track all expenditures with strict accountability and oversee the procurement process for all equipment, materials, and services, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with regulations.
* Manage project risks and proactively identify and mitigate potential issues, and oversee design and construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.

This role of Framework Director is great for you if:
* Proven track record of client relationships and securing work on major framework/alliance schemes.
* Extensive project management experience and delivery of high value infrastructure projects whilst working to deadlines.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management principles, and construction practices.
* Experience working with government agencies and navigating regulatory requirements.
* Proficient in project management software and construction documentation tools.
