We have an opportunity fora Process Safety Engineer at one of our manufacturing sites located at Widnes.Reporting to the Lead Process Engineer, you will work under their guidanceproviding technical process safety expertise to actively support the promotionof, and engaging in, process and workplace SHE.
A key requirement of this role will involve collaboration withmulti-disciplinary teams, you will apply your process safety knowledge andleadership skills to help maintain safe and reliable operations and tofacilitate the delivery of site objectives. It is expected that you will have aworking knowledge of the relevant engineering codes and standards and candemonstrate their practical application.

Essentials:
9. Chemical / Process Engineering Degree
10. Minimum 5 years Process Engineer / Process Safety experience
11. Strong understanding of Process Safety and experience of undertaking and participating in safety studies (PSSR, Pressure Relief, Risk Assessments, Hazard Studies, LoPA, ALARP Demonstration, PUWER, DSEAR, etc.)
12. Able to provide monthly and quarterly updates on Process Safety KPIs
13. Experience of Management of Change systems and procedures
14. High degree of analytical and numeracy skills
15. Proficient in report writing, producing documentation and the development of procedures and training
16. Experience of supporting production / manufacturing operations
17. Experience of working within multi-discipline teams
18. Able to troubleshoot, problem solve, analyse data and suggest improvements
19. Able to specify process equipment and produce datasheets
20. Able to undertake project scoping, PFD/P&ID development, and design documentation
21. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
