Exeter Cathedral School is seeking to appoint term-time Teaching Assistants to work with children across the school. You will ideally be able to start in March 2025.
Ideally, you will have a Level Three Teaching Assistant qualification. And previous experience of working with children in nursery or pre prep schools.
You will need to:
1. Provide a sensitive and nurturing approach to children’s needs;
2. Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents;
3. Have excellent English and Maths skills;
4. Be willing to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour;
5. Be able to use your own initiative when required;
6. Have experience in a similar role in a school;
7. Have prior knowledge and experience of working with children with special educational needs.
Exeter Cathedral School is an independent day and boarding Prep School for girls and boys aged 3–13 based in the centre of Exeter (nestled safely in the lee of the Cathedral). Founded in the 13th century as a choir school, Exeter Cathedral School now educates approximately 270 pupils.
