From tracking packages to preparing essential shipping documents, your efforts will help keep our operations seamless Department: Shipping Team (this is a sickness cover, however if the candidate performs well we are open to consider permanent employment after the contract ends) Responsible to: Shipping Supervisor Location: Building 190 Carver Drive, Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8NP Starting Salary: £12.50 per hour, subject to regular reviews dependant on performance. Working Pattern: 30 hours per week (5 days per week, 6 hours daily). Possibility of hybrid work once training period is completed. Main Responsibilities and Duties: · Monitor and track daily package shipments, promptly updating the team on any delays. · Prepare labels and required documentation for the next day’s shipments. · Coordinate with the laboratory and sales team regarding upcoming shipments. · Generate commercial invoices based on shipment volumes for smooth customs clearance. · Draft FDA letters for U.S. shipments. · Arrange and schedule courier pickups daily. · Provide office support when onsite, including answering phone calls and directing messages appropriately. Candidate Requirements: · Proactive and highly organised. · Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. · Team player with excellent communication abilities. · Quick thinker who can adapt to a fast-paced environment. · Preferred: 1-2 years of administrative experience. Additional Duties · Any other tasks that may be required due to business needs. · Cross train with rest of shipping team to cover for absences.
