Main duties of the job Working with the Health and Safety Lead, the post holder will be part of a team who are required to ensure compliance with statutory legislation. Main Duties:Health and Safety Auditing, Inspections and Investigations,RIDDOR reporting and investigations,Delivering health and safety training,Compiling reports and recommendationsProvide support and advice and guidance on a range of health and safety topicsRequirements:Ideally you should hold a General H&S Certificate (IOSH / BSC) and be working towards you Level 5 health and safety qualification. Previous experience in undertaking health and safety activities is desirable. You should be self-motivated and able to work independently and prioritise assigned tasks effectively. You should also possess strong communication and teamworking skills.Desirable:Whilst experience in working in the NHS or a healthcare setting is desirable it is not essential. As a team player, you'll be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a team focused approach. Previous experience ofworking within a healthcare environment or the NHS is desirable but not essential.
