About Admiral Law
Admiral Law is a growing business; we are a legal practice run by a team of experts who specialise in personal injury claims. The customer is always at the heart of everything we do, and we aim to be exceptional in the service we deliver.
Admiral Law operates as a standalone entity within Admiral Group and operates as a team with appropriate specialists but with the added support and benefits of being part of the wider business.
We’re looking for people who are keen to learn, excited about getting stuck in and are ready for a challenge to help us to achieve our aim of creating an excellent service for our customers.
The Role
As a paralegal in our Claimant MIB Personal Injury department, you will be representing our clients who have been injured as a result of a road traffic accident to bring a claim against the MIB or a UK handling agent for their personal injury claim and damages. The successful candidate will deal with a caseload of claims in which the other driver cannot be identified, and as a result, we are pursuing a claim via the MIB and a selection of UKHA claims. You will deal with claims from the commencement of the claim up to settlement. This can be a difficult time for our clients, and therefore you will be there from the start of their claim, reassuring and empathising with them.
Aside from investigating the accident circumstances, you may be responsible for the investigation of our client’s claim for Personal Injury. Your role will involve obtaining medical evidence in support of your client’s claim, valuing the injuries sustained, and gathering all of the required evidence in respect of their losses.
With your own caseload, you’ll advise your clients on the best course of action. In this fast-paced role, you’ll effectively manage and progress your own caseload using our in-house case management system (and in line with our SLAs), keeping clients informed of progress every step of the way.

* Assessing and investigating liability.
* Reviewing Medical Reports & valuing injury claims.
* Reviewing financial losses.
* Advising clients in respect of liability and quantum.

Skills and Experience

* You must have a genuine interest in law and be willing to learn new skills and approaches to tasks.
* Numeracy, literacy and IT skills are vital, and you will need to be a great communicator.
* Whilst you will be supported in your role, you will need to be able to manage your time effectively, ensuring adherence with SLAs and deadlines.
* A large part of the role is solving problems, and so the ability to weigh up various approaches and then action the appropriate solution will be essential.
