The Package
Basic Salary: dependant on experience plus car allowance and eligibility to participate in an annual employee discretionary bonus scheme.

Work Pattern: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Location: Field/Home based (will be required to travel to Head Office sites in Walsall and Preston for team meetings)
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days plus Public/Bank holidays

Main Purpose of Role
The key elements of your role will be to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers using the company's direct labour organisation.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations.
Act as a point of contact for our direct labour and sub-contractors to help assist and advise and ensure maximum first-time resolution is achieved.
We intend to extend the remit of this role to involve you in the onboarding, monitoring, and auditing of our sub-contractor network to ensure full compliance with all necessary company H&S requirements.
Provide all necessary training to allow DLO to undertake the role which will need to be maintained.
Ensure that all contractor calls are undertaken and completed on a daily basis.
Ensure that all DLO vehicles and works are compliant with current H&S regulations.
Responsible for delivering the day-to-day budgetary targets set by the business in relation to the field staff.
Monitor and control direct costs and materials.
Ensure that all and any overtime is monitored and is productive.
Complete DLO time sheets and approve any justified overtime.
Role and Responsibilities
* As part of your terms of employment, you would be required to be included within the duty managers rota for being on call. Currently, the rota operates as one week in every five weeks, but this could change due to the requirements of the business.
* Responsibility for delivering the DLO budgetary figures on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
* Responsibility for the delivery of the day-to-day performance of the DLO.
* Ensuring that all DLO resources are being used in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
* Ensuring that all company vans are maintained, repaired, and are in a serviceable condition at all times.
* Day-to-day stores duties, ordering materials, plant, PPE etc.
* Control of the day-to-day repairs of all ANSA plant and equipment.
* Planned plant maintenance of all ANSA plant and equipment.
* Travel to sites and undertake auditing and training as deemed necessary.
* Ensuring that all Calibration is done on company equipment in line with current regulations.
* Responsibility for the day-to-day running of ANSA on-site operation.
* Undertake site audits both for DLO and sub-contractors.
* Undertake van audits both for DLO and sub-contractors.
* Replenish consumables for DLO vans.
* Ordering and monitoring of all lining equipment.
* Assist with contacting sub-contractors in relation to sourcing and onboarding approved sub-contractors.
* Undertake background checks on contractors, both financial and DBS.
* Training of sub-contractors in relation to Eviid both mobile and on-site.
* Assist with managing the sub-contractor.
* Assist with ensuring that all sub-contractors are fully compliant with H&S.
* Travel to sites to deal with complaint issues and on-site resolutions.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
* IOSH managing health and safety – this is a prerequisite for this role.
* Minimum of 5 years managing a busy remote workforce.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in the operation of live from site operating methods.
* Fully able to make live from site liability decisions to guide on-site staff.
* Full working knowledge of Eviid Pro and its operation and application to the underground service operations.
* Minimum of 10 years experience within the drainage and water supply industry.
* Excellent and intimate understanding and knowledge of all necessary skills including investigation and repairs to both drainage and water supply systems.
* Excellent knowledge on all off main systems including all relevant regulations.
* Working understanding and knowledge of all relevant building regulations.
* Working understanding and knowledge of all relevant environmental regulations.
