A leading construction design consultancy based in Reading are looking to add a successful UK Sales Manager to their team on a permanent basis.
The role will be managing and providing support and overseeing the UK sales team due to their continued growth and expansion into international markets.
Job Specific
1. Responsibility for achieving UK/IRE sales target
2. Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the sales team to attain all business plan sales targets and objectives.
3. Managing the UK sales and estimating team and ensuring opportunities are maximised and the team are held accountable for disciplined sales actions and healthy GP.
4. Achieve or exceed sales targets within budget and resources allocated.
5. Develop sales strategy, tactics and targets for the sales team.
6. Develop and nurture key client relationships.
7. Identify and report on business opportunities and threats in target market.
8. Identify and mitigate risks to market and explore and exploit new opportunities.
9. Strive for continuous improvements to the sales process and add to company best practices.
10. Attending key sales meetings c-suite level pitches
11. Holding weekly sales meeting.
12. Ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting to the Sales Director
13. Training and developing the team
14. Ensuring clean sales handover to operations.
15. Set quarterly team goals and improve systems and processes
Experience
1. Construction industry experience required
2. Proven sales track records of 5 plus years
3. Ability to demonstrate pipeline management with use of sales analysis tools, win maps and other proven methods
4. Full UK Driving License
