Operations Administrator Job Summary The Operations Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our team by providing administrative support, managing data entry tasks, diary management, and maintaining effective communication within the organisation. This role is at Brill Power’s office in Oxford and can be full- or part-time, depending on experience. The salary for this role is £15 per hour. It is a great opportunity for someone who is Oxford-based and keen on picking up some extra work to support a young clean-tech startup. About Brill Power Brill Power works at the cutting edge of energy storage, power electronics, and battery software. Job Overview and Responsibilities We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual who can support the Operations Team. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in various office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities include General office support including arranging delivery and pickup of office supplies and refreshments, documentation for contractor visits, and administration of paperwork for office service and maintenance Support with office administration tasks (regular upkeep, stock checks, building access checks, plant upkeep, regular orders acceptance, etc) Answering door, checking in packages, updating purchasing records, handing out to appropriate person or putting into stock Support the shipments process by boxing up shipments, ensuring correct paperwork, arranging and liaising with courier Support with purchasing and ordering, following our purchasing process to raise purchase orders, update documentation, and maintain inventory information Skills and Qualifications Some administrative experience Ability to manage work independently and meet agreed deadlines Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills verbal and written Excellent organizational skills Must have the right to work in the UK Brill Power Benefits In addition to a fun and friendly team and working environment, we offer: 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata) Part-time role (hours could be agreed depending on experience) In-office tea, coffee, & snacks Regular team social events Get in touch There is no perfect candidate, and no single person can do it all, but if this sounds like you and you're looking for somewhere to thrive, we want to hear from you.
