The Role: We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team selling the UK’s leading digital identity solution. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has recently transitioned into a BDM role and is eager to progress their career. The ideal candidate will be a proactive "hunter," comfortable with cold outreach, and not reliant on inbound leads to meet targets. You should be proficient and disciplined in the use of HubSpot or similar CRM along with other lead generation tools to identify prospects, engage with and convert into new accounts. As a BDM, you'll have the maturity, drive and skills to understand market need and buyer profiles across several industry sectors, building and managing your own sales pipeline. If you have B2B sales experience, especially with HR, recruitment, screening, or compliance teams, this role could be the perfect fit Key Responsibilities: Drive Sales Growth - Identify, target and engage with potential B2B clients and convert into new accounts. Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals and ensuring client success post-signup. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding ARR targets. Deploy a range of outreach strategies, measure results and accurately forecast sales. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to onboarding. Key Requirements: Strong "hunter" mentality with the ability to generate leads and close deals without relying on inbound. Ability and discipline to manage and prioritise your sales pipeline effectively, utilising sales control systems such as HubSpot. SaaS technology solutions experience, preferably in the HR, compliance, screening space. Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable with navigating complex sales processes.
