We've established a series of partnership collaborations, including the @one Alliance and Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA), which together, are known as the Strategic Alliances. Now with the recent introduction of the Cambridge Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Relocation Project, we certainly have an abundance of recruitment coming our way!
We are gearing up for our most exciting and challenging Asset Management Period yet, known as AMP 8, this will see us deliver a programme of work larger than we've ever delivered before. To help us do that, we're looking to build on our existing team, you'll join us at a pivotal time as we head into AMP 8 where you'll help us find talent with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to set us apart from the rest.

Role Overview: As a Recruitment Partner within the Anglian Water Strategic Alliances, you'll be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, collaborating closely with hiring managers and partner companies whilst ensuring a seamless candidate experience. You'll support a designated business area whilst being part of the wider team providing cover for other business areas in times of absence and high volumes.
Your proactive approach to recruitment, strong communication skills, and continuous improvement mindset will be essential in attracting top talent and contributing to our employer branding efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaboration with Hiring Managers and Partners: Work closely with hiring managers and our partners to understand recruitment needs, assist developing job descriptions, and create tailored recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Proactive Management of Recruitment Campaigns: Lead and manage recruitment campaigns from start to finish, utilising a variety of sourcing channels to attract high-quality candidates. Proactively engage with passive candidates and maintain a pipeline of talent for current and future needs.
* Direct Candidate Sourcing: Assist in establishing and utilising various sourcing techniques, including networking, social media, and online job boards, to identify, pipeline and attract top candidates. Conduct direct outreach and build relationships with potential candidates to enhance candidate engagement and retention.
* Writing Attractive Adverts: Craft compelling job advertisements and marketing materials to attract diverse candidates. Highlight the company's values, culture, and career opportunities to showcase Anglian Water Alliances as an employer of choice.
* Employer Branding Activities: Contribute to employer branding initiatives, including social media campaigns, employer awards, and recruitment events. Promote the employer brand and values to enhance our reputation and attract top talent.
* Graduate Recruitment Processes: Participate in graduate recruitment initiatives, including university partnerships, campus events, and graduate assessment processes. Develop innovative strategies to attract, engage, and retain graduate talent within the organization.
* Customer/Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional customer and candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Act as a brand ambassador for the Strategic Alliances, ensuring positive interactions and timely communication with candidates at every stage.
* Continuous Improvement: Utilise data and analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve recruitment processes and outcomes. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and candidate experience.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in an in-house or agency recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR role
* Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers, partners, and candidates.
* Exposure to utilising direct sourcing techniques to attract candidates.
* Proactive and results-oriented approach to recruitment, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes and exceeding targets.
* Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging job adverts and marketing materials.
* Experience in Graduate/ Early Careers recruitment activities is desirable.
* Passion for employer branding, candidate experience, and continuous improvement.
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse recruitment metrics and optimise processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
