What we are looking for...
We are looking to recruit a new HR Assistant to join our team who will work 37.5 hours per week. The salary for this post is £24,180 per annum rising to £25,336 per annum after 3 years. This post is offered on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2026. Working alongside your fellow HR Assistants and People Partners, you will support a portfolio of services with their HR administrative requirements. These will include areas such as:
1. Drafting and publishing recruitment adverts and issuing candidate invites;
2. Undertaking rigorous safer recruitment checks;
3. Sickness recording and issuing contracts.
As part of this busy team, you will contribute to the delivery of an excellent service and will have daily contact with managers and staff throughout the organisation.
You will have experience of working in a busy role juggling conflicting priorities. You will have proficient IT skills with experience of using applications such as Word and Excel. You will thrive on working with detail and have a passion for learning new processes. You will ideally hold a relevant qualification at SCQF level 7 or above or have equivalent knowledge ideally gained within a similar HR role.
This post provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge of HR within a fast-paced environment, including using a specialised computerised HR system.
