An exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Specialist Practice Educator (Social Work) has arisen within the Nursing and Quality Directorate. £46,148 - £52,809 pro rata per annum, 20 hours per week. You will work alongside the Trust Social Work Lead to support student Social Worker’s, ASYE candidates, Trainee Practice Educators, and Practice Educators across the organisation. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and you will have an exceptional understanding of the PCF and PEPS. You will need to have excellent clinical and leadership skills, as well as being passionate about learning and practice education. You will be required to work with our Key Partners and the wider system to provide education and training. This is a dynamic post that requires the post holder to work closely with the Trust Social work lead, local universities, multi-disciplinary teams and agencies. The post holder will have a keen interest in the National Social Work agenda. There will be an emphasis upon Social Work development including continuous professional development (CPD), working collaboratively across internal and external professions and organisations. The post holder will oversees the provision of quality Social Work education throughout the organisation and externally within partnerships, involving extensive networking and liaison with service providers.
