This role is ideal for someone available to cover casual shifts throughout the week, including weekends and public holidays, with kitchen operational hours between 6:00am and 2:30pm. The successful candidate will report to the Catering Manager and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of food services while adhering to food hygiene regulations. Efficiency and food handling are essential in this dynamic kitchen environment. Role & Responsibilities: Food and beverage preparation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and service areas Perform tasks efficiently and on time Adhere to food hygiene and Occupational Health & Safety procedures Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, residents, and customers Adhere to dietary requirements, including allergies and texture-modified foods Fast and efficient service with a focus on quality Skills And Experiences Requirements: The successful candidate will be a proactive team player with previous experience as a Cook in the Aged Care industry.
