The Dorset MSK administration team is currently looking to recruit an administrator to work 30.0 hours per week. The role includes dealing with a range of telephone queries, arranging appointments, managing patient correspondence, data inputting and problem solving, covering the reception desk.
You will need to be highly organized with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering a customer focused service. This is a very busy department and you will be required to effectively manage multiple and diverse work streams.
The role will also require travelling to the Prince of Wales Surgery (Frederick Treves House) as and when required to cover reception. You will need to have business insurance on your car so you are able to claim for mileage.
Employment in this post requires an Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Covering Reception meet and greet patients, answering telephones, data inputting, downloading worklists from ERS.
To complete clerical and administrative tasks as directed by the line manager which may include the following duties.
Reception duties.
Arranging patient appointments.
Dealing with telephone enquiries.
To assist and direct visitors as required.
Ordering and issuing of hearing aid batteries.
Ordering stationery.
Downloading ERS
Changing appointment dates and clinics
