Due to significant investment into this manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent, we are looking for a Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Lead. Identifying root cause and embedding a culture of continuous improvement will be a key priority in this role. In return, you will be given the autonomy to perform in your role and, with the Operations Manager, make and implement real change in this growing business.
The role as a Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance Lead:
1. Ownership of product quality standards.
2. Oversee the establishment and leadership of a formal Continuous Improvement (CI) programme.
3. Embedding a CI culture, driving change, and ensuring alignment of all teams with operational goals.
4. Creating, maintaining, and auditing quality controls; developing a structured CI framework.
5. Engaging teams across departments to implement best practices in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, and waste reduction.
To be successful in this Continuous Improvement Leader role you will need:
1. Experience in quality assurance or continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting, preferably within automotive, aerospace, or industrial sectors.
2. Demonstrated success in leading CI projects, including expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
3. Strong knowledge of modern manufacturing processes and quality improvement strategies.
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proficient in Office 365, possessing strong presentation and facilitation skills.
The benefits of a CI & Quality Lead:
1. Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm
2. Friday 7am - 1pm
3. Basic salary of GBP40,000 - GBP45,000
