The Role – Graduate Science Teaching Assistant As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will provide valuable support to the science department, working closely with teachers to assist with the delivery of engaging lessons, and helping students to overcome barriers to learning. Supporting Science teachers in the classroom, ensuring students remain engaged and motivated. Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupil’s wo require additional help. Reinforcing key concepts to help students build confidence and improve their understanding. Contributing to the overall development of the Science curriculum and assisting with classroom management. What we’re looking for - Graduate Science Teaching Assistant Science Graduate with 2:1 or above from a Russell Group University. Passionate for education and a desire to support students. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and staff. Previous experience working with young people or in a school setting would be an advantage, but not essential.
