An outstanding secondary school in Bromley is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Geography to join their Humanities department on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to teach KS3 to KS5 Geography in a well-resourced and supportive environment, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for students.
The successful candidate will:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Monitor and support the academic progress and development of students.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of teaching resources.
* Engage with parents, carers, and colleagues to support students' academic and personal growth.
* Uphold the school's values and contribute to its vibrant school community.
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS) with:
* A degree in Geography or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level (including KS5 is desirable).
* A strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.
* Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring students.
* The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to department initiatives.
