Key Responsibilities
1. First line support responsibility, ensuring that the customer’s issues are clearly understood
2. Where possible/necessary, replication of the issues to enable the identification of the cause and potential resolution(s)
3. Effective management of problems, escalating to more senior colleagues subject to urgency and/or the need for assistance
4. Configuring software where applicable
5. Testing, documentation and due diligence for completed implementations and upgrades
6. Communicate effectively with customers in advance of agreed tasks, provide progress updates during tasks and on completion, highlighting issues and recommending follow on actions
7. Liaise with specialist technical and software development staff
8. Communicate with our clients by phone and by email
You will be a tech savvy thinker who possesses the following skills:
1. Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal with customer queries and complaints
2. Motivated to learn and prepared to learn new skills, both commercial and of a technical nature
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
4. Positive, proactive and self-motivated individual
5. Time management skills with the ability to work with minimum supervision
1. Ability to work independently recognising and setting priorities for self.
2. Ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred skills:
1. Good understanding of the full product lifecycle from initial concept design through to ongoing support.
2. An understanding of the principles of workflow
3. Technical IT skills are an advantage, but not essential as these can be developed during your development at Civica
4. A technical degree would be advantageous
