The Role We are excited to introduce our new services dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities designed to enhance their quality of life and promote independence while supporting individuals to attend college. Our approach focuses on presonalised care, empowerment and community engagement. You will be involved in supporting them to live independently or to attend college. We support with social interaction and participation in daily activities. As well as providing assistance with personal care, life skills and recreational opportunities, ensuring that each individual receives the support that they need to thrive. We help to create a nurturing environment where individuals feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential. About you We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need previous experience in care as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualifications and yearly SSSC registration fees For these opportunities, a driver with a full UK driving license is essential the people we support have their own mobility cars. All we ll need you to bring is: - A caring and compassionate attitude The ability to work well in a team Good communication and organisational skills A positive attitude with a willingness to learn The ability to cook Confidence in the use of computers A full UK driving licence Shift Patterns To accommodate the diverse needs of the individuals we support, or staff will operate on flexible shifts hours with a mix of 10am-10am which will include a 10 hour sleepover, 10pm-8am waking nights, dayshifts support to support the people we support to college.
