If you are passionate about what you do, we’d love to hear from you About the role As a Senior Energy and Carbon Analyst within Optimised, you will be part of the Bureau team, responsible for energy query management, analysing meter reads in our data management system, creating recharges for tenants, processing change of tenancies, as well as creating various detailed reports for our clients. This role is responsible for high level customer service, through accurate utility invoice validation, providing a high level of customer satisfaction through accurate and effective service delivery. What you’ll actually do Provide an excellent client experience to internal and external stakeholders Ensuring queries are handled via all typical channels, in line with KPI’s Helping to develop systems, processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness Ensuring invoice checking and tariff-based validation on all components of electricity & gas invoices have been completed within the team Maintaining database(s) with accurate data in a timely manner Checking batches of invoices, analysing the costs against previous periods, and looking for and reviewing anomalies Assisting with raising queries and resolving errors with suppliers when invoices are incorrect to resolve ASAP Overseeing the processing and following up on change of tenancies Overseeing and supporting the creating and delivery of monthly/scheduled recharge invoices to tenants Calculating targets and budgets and reviewing on-accounts where required Providing regular performance and portfolio-wide reports and issuing to clients accordingly Overseeing new connections and disconnections within the team Providing regular pro-active status updates on projects moving through requirement and solution stages Driving continual improvement in our billing systems and processes Ensuring that core processes are documented and that efficiencies are identified and implemented Attending client meetings with Account Managers Carry out regular auditing of database to ensure data has been entered correctly and missing data is being obtained Build knowledge of the energy industry and develop an understanding of queries and resolution Developing a personal training plan to achieve professional qualification(s) and work towards a Certificate in Energy Management with the Energy Institute Mentoring new and less experienced team members. Keep up to date with skills and developments in the role/expertise and share with the wider team Convey real passion and belief in the business and support the drive to a net zero world. Provide a contribution to continuous collaboration and innovation. Support managers in the provision of Health, Safety and Wellbeing in the workplace. Adhere to company policy, guidelines and standard operating procedures. Ensure you act as a role model, work collaboratively, act professionally and enhance positive morale and wellbeing at internal/external events.
