We are working with a group of highly regarded accountancy practices who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant Manager in their Sheffield office. This is a full-time permanent position. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Senior to step up into a management role and maintain a portfolio of client accounts whilst overseeing a small team.
Accounts Assistant Manager Job Overview
1. Training junior Accountants/AAT/ACCA studiers and reviewing their work
2. Manage the preparation for VAT returns
3. Work closely with the senior management team to become a key member of the firm
4. Be the first point of call for a portfolio of specialist clients
5. Manage company accounts and tax returns
6. Be involved with management accounts, forecasting, P&L
Accounts Assistant Manager Job Requirements
1. ACA or ACCA qualified with 5 years minimum practice experience
2. Experienced in client accounting and portfolio management
3. Excellent leadership qualities to support a growing team and practice
4. Long term ambition to help a thriving practice grow as part of the senior management team
5. Based within a 1 hour commute of Sheffield
Accounts Assistant Manager Salary & Benefits
1. £40-45,000 dependant on skills and experience
2. 23 days annual leave + bank holidays
3. Flexible working hours between 09.00 - 17.30, 37.5 hours per week
