A secondary school in Manchester is looking for a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to work with students who require additional behaviour support. This is a vital role in ensuring that all students have access to a safe and productive learning environment.
The Role:
* Supporting students with behavioural difficulties, helping them to engage positively with learning.
* Implementing behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
* Working closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and class teachers to support student progress.
* Helping to create personalised strategies for students who require additional interventions.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges.
* Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
* Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
