Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Service Excellence:
* Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
* Provide clear and accurate information about currency exchange rates, services, and fees.
* Answer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person promptly and efficiently.
* Transaction Management:
* Process foreign currency exchanges accurately using company systems.
* Verify and authenticate currency to prevent fraudulent transactions.
* Handle cash, checks, and electronic payments securely and responsibly.
* Compliance & Accuracy:
* Adhere to all anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance regulations.
* Maintain meticulous records of transactions and customer information as required.
* Ensure proper identification and documentation for high-value transactions.
* Problem-Solving:
* Address customer complaints or discrepancies with a solution-oriented approach.
* Escalate unresolved issues to the Branch Manager as needed.
* Operational Support:
* Reconcile daily cash balances and ensure accuracy.
* Assist in replenishing currency stock and reporting shortages.
* Contribute to the upkeep and organization of the branch environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
* High school diploma or equivalent; college education is an asset.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Experience in retail, banking, or currency exchange is preferred but not required.
* Proficient in using computers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling transactions.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
* Basic math skills and the ability to calculate exchange rates quickly.
* Understanding of foreign currencies and exchange processes (training provided).

Education:
* Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience:
* Customer service: 3-5 years (required)
* Retail, banking, currency exchange: 1 year (preferred)
* POS: 1 year (required)
