Role: Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician
Salary: £39,000 to £41,000 per annum, plus benefits, further training and career opportunities
Hours: 12 hour shifts, rotation of days & nights
Location: Commutable from Southampton, Havant, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Winchester, Fareham and surrounding areas

The Role
Working under the direction of the senior engineer, this Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will complete allocated mechanical & electrical maintenance tasks and projects, ensuring quality and completion within the agreed timescales.
Responsibilities include:
1. Undertaking planned maintenance
2. Reacting to breakdowns
3. Delivering equipment upgrades
4. New installations and infrastructure changes
5. Building maintenance as required
This is a multi-skilled environment; either bias is acceptable, with support provided for improvement in the lesser discipline.
Requirements
A background in Maintenance engineering or Service Engineering in environments such as industrial, facilities, FMCG, building services, or similar production/manufacturing environments.
1. Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ or C&G Level 3 in mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled)
2. Good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across some of the following: motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, boilers, pumps, inverters, sensors, relays, contactors, 3 phase motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, or similar
3. Multi-skilled across electrical & mechanical; either bias is equally welcome, or a passion to build on your current specialty
4. Good fault-finding skills
5. Friendly and adaptable, with the ability to work well in a small team
6. Proactive and enjoy getting your hands dirty
