An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health professional [Social Work, Nursing, OT] or Post-Graduate Qualified Therapist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team working within our Behaviour & Conduct Pathway.
You will play a crucial role in developing, managing, and delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people presenting with behavioural and conduct issues. Your leadership will guide a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that our services are tailored to meet the diverse needs of those we support.
Main duties of the job
You will be a highly motivated and innovative individual with clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties, as well as have experience working with young people with challenging behaviour, Conduct difficulties and/or Neurodiversity.
You will have experience delivering evidence-based interventions (such as NVR, PBS, Social Skills Interventions) and Family Work/Parenting Interventions or Family/Systemic Psychotherapy.
You will have experience working in a Multi-Disciplinary team as well as part of a Multi-Agency approach to Care Planning and Risk Management.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT places a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

* Core professional registration
* Post grad development and training in CYPMHS
Experience
* 3 plus years experience in working with CYPMHS
* Therapeutic work undertaken with complex cases
* Experience of working with difficult, disturbed or challenging children/young people requiring skilled and complex interventions
* Experience of working therapeutically with parents/carers/families of children and young people with complex mental health problems
Skills
* Evidence of group work or ability to run groups
Knowledge
* Knowledge of legislation in relation to children and adolescents and safeguarding procedures and policies
* Knowledge of risk management and ability to monitor and assess risk and act accordingly to ensure safety
