Are you a skilled engineer seeking a dynamic opportunity in a cutting-edge environment? As a Shift Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
* Monitor and respond to alarms and alerts promptly, resolving any issues that may arise.
* Conduct regular inspections and checks to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
* Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate scheduled maintenance and shutdowns.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a shift engineer, preferably in a data centre or similar environment.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, generators, UPS, and fire detection systems.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond promptly to emergencies.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
