With 138 spacious bedrooms, the hotel is located just 3.7 miles from Gatwick Airport and five minutes from Manor Royal business park.
Guests can revel in fresh décor, power showers and individual air conditioning as they unwind on new Hypnos king-size beds with flat-screen TVs. The hotel’s meeting space has the capacity for up to 25 delegates theatre style and boasts upgraded facilities including new lighting and AV equipment. The hotel also offers an onsite bar showing the latest Sky Sports.
Job Description
We are looking for a Resident Services Assistant to provide overnight support of the departmental operations and act as a point of contact for residents during the night. You will be an approachable and friendly people person with the willingness to support and maintain a close relationship with residents throughout their stay.
This role is a multi-tasking role, and you will be required to be adaptable to ensure that the needs of the residents are always met.
Responsibilities
As a Resident Services Assistant (Nights), key responsibilities include:
1. Operate the premises (24hr)
2. Ensure the set up of the buffet system in the restaurant area for mealtimes for residents
3. Adhere to Food Safety and Hygiene practices
4. Clear/sanitize tables in the restaurant area and the reception area
5. Maintain the reception, food and beverage outlets, public areas, stores, back office, staff room and outside areas in a clean and tidy condition
6. Deal with any resident queries in a polite and friendly manner
7. Record all complaints, comments, and special requests in the daily handover log
8. Clearly communicate with other departments to ensure minimal impact on resident service
9. Conduct Night Audit procedure
