This post provides an exciting opportunity for a committed enthusiastic individual wishing to gain subspecialty training and clinical experience in adult medical dermatology. You will join our large multidisciplinary medical dermatology team working in bespoke dermatology facilities in the heart of St. John's with major responsibility for people with severe inflammatory and blistering skin disease. You will have completed or be nearing completion of your CCT and wish to gain expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex skin disease including eczema, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa and immunobullous disease, and optimised use of biologic and other immunomodulatory therapies. Its primary role is the delivery of excellence in clinical service, education and training, research and development in Dermatology. These functions are undertaken in both clinical and academic settings. On the academic side the Institute offers two postgraduate degrees in Dermatology and makes an important contribution to the Biomedical School as part of the Division of Genetics and Molecular Medicine, GKT School of Medicine, King's College London. GSTT and KCL provide one of only five Biomedical Research Centres in the UK and cutaneous medicine is the only BRC funded dermatology theme in the UK.
