My client is looking for an outstanding Business Development Manager with the talent, ambition, and loyalty to flourish in a fast growing and sector defining FM provider. You will be highly motivated to drive the growth of my clients organisation within their Seasonal Turnaround Services (STS) business unit. The STS division specialises in the delivery of deep cleaning and hotel housekeeping services to the Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and university sectors. STS is my clients longest standing and most profitable business unit, and it’s continued success is essential to my clients long-term business objectives. The position will require you to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with the Business Unit Director and Administration Manager to bid and win work with new PBSA organisations and universities. You will be supported fully by the Business Development Director, but will need to be able to independently generate new leads and to complete bids in both private sector (PBSA) and public sector (university) RFP processes. This role would ideally suit someone with existing sales experience, who is looking for career progression and ready to step up to owning a service line target. Your three main KPI’s will be achieving STS PBSA sales targets, STS university sales targets, and next financial year pipeline coverage. To apply you must have worked for a facilities management company or been in a facilities management role and have new business development experience. Public sector/university bid experience is preferred but not essential. You must be able to provide evidence of managing and delivering a £1m sales target.
